The Fish low bowl looks as though it has been locked away in a temple for centuries! It's a classic low bowl with round sides and a small rim made from foot-stomp porcelain clay. This porcelain clay is mixed by hand and wedged by foot introducing small mineral particles that appear as rust colored spots after being fired. The deep blue hand painted motifs insure no two pieces are identical! Finished with a hand applied rust colored antiquing wash. We like to call this collection "rustic chinoiserie" noting its classical design contrasted with its ancient appearance.
