At Palm Bungalow, each piece is thoughtfully sourced, crafted, or assembled with an emphasis on material integrity, proportion, and design permanence. Many of our works are limited, modified, or created to specification.
In order to preserve the integrity of our collections and maintain the level of service our clients expect, we uphold the following acquisition policy.
Final Sale
All acquisitions are considered final.
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on:
- In-store purchases
- Online purchases
- Telephone or email orders
- Custom commissions
- Special orders
- Deposits
- Sale or reduced merchandise
We encourage clients to carefully review dimensions, materials, and placement considerations prior to purchase. Our team is always available to assist in this process.
Custom & Commissioned Works
Custom, commissioned, or modified pieces are produced specifically for the client and often involve structural alteration, deconstruction of original components, or made-to-order fabrication.
Once production begins, these works cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. Deposits are non-refundable and secure materials, artisan labor, and production scheduling.
Material Integrity
Our collections frequently incorporate natural stone, onyx, marble, ceramic, wood, woven fibers, and other organic materials. Variations in tone, veining, mineral movement, surface texture, and subtle irregularities are inherent characteristics and hallmarks of authenticity.
These natural distinctions are not defects but evidence of material integrity and individuality.
Outdoor Placement & Environmental Exposure
Outdoor and balcony installations are inherently subject to wind exposure, weather events, salt air, and environmental conditions beyond our control.
While we take thoughtful measures to promote stability and longevity, Palm Bungalow cannot guarantee performance against extreme or unpredictable environmental factors. Structural evaluation, engineering considerations, and wind mitigation fall under the responsibility of the property owner or building management.
Inspection & Acceptance
Clients are responsible for reviewing merchandise at the time of delivery or installation. Completion of delivery constitutes full acceptance of:
- Scale and proportion
- Finish and coloration
- Material characteristics
- Overall condition
Any transit-related damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and accompanied by photographs. Approved claims may be addressed via repair at management discretion.
Delivery & Installation Services
Delivery and installation are offered as a professional courtesy. Once a piece has been placed or installed, it is deemed accepted.
Palm Bungalow is not responsible for:
- Building restrictions or engineering compliance
- HOA or property management requirements
- Environmental shifts
- Post-installation movement due to wind or climate
- Subsequent relocation or handling
Discretionary Consideration
In rare and exceptional circumstances, management may offer a store credit at its sole discretion. Such consideration is not guaranteed and does not establish precedent.
Store credits, if issued:
- Are valid for 90 days
- May not be redeemed for cash
- Apply only to in-stock merchandise
- Exclude custom, commissioned, or special-order pieces
Policy Acknowledgment
Completion of purchase confirms acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.
