Shipping policy
At Palm Bungalow, many of our pieces require specialized handling due to their scale, weight, and material composition. We take great care in preparing each order for transit.
Below you will find details regarding shipping timelines, delivery methods, and important considerations.
Processing Time
In-stock items typically ship within 3–7 business days unless otherwise noted.
Custom, commissioned, or modified pieces require extended production timelines as quoted at the time of purchase. Production timelines are estimates and may vary based on material availability and artisan scheduling.
Shipping Methods
Depending on the size and nature of your order, we ship via:
- Standard parcel carriers (UPS / FedEx)
- Freight carriers
- White-glove delivery services
- Local delivery (where applicable)
Shipping method is determined by size, weight, fragility, and destination.
Freight & White-Glove Deliveries
Large furniture, stone objects, oversized planters, and heavy pieces ship via freight or white-glove service.
Please note:
- Delivery appointments are scheduled directly with the carrier.
- An adult must be present to receive and inspect the shipment.
- Delivery includes placement only if specified in your order.
- Removal of existing items is not included unless pre-arranged.
Additional fees may apply for redelivery, storage, stair carries, elevator reservations, or special building requirements.
Damages & Claims
We carefully inspect and photograph many items prior to shipment. However, once an order leaves our facility, it is in the care of the carrier.
Upon delivery:
- Inspect all packaging and merchandise immediately.
- If damage is visible, note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Take photographs of the packaging and the item.
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to document damage at the time of delivery or to notify us within 24 hours may limit our ability to file a claim with the carrier.
Please note:
- Minor variations, natural material characteristics, and subtle surface irregularities are not considered shipping damage.
- All damage claims are subject to carrier review and approval.
- Resolution may include repair, replacement, or claim filing at management discretion.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout or quoted separately for freight and white-glove deliveries.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Delays & Carrier Responsibility
Once an order leaves our facility, transit timing is managed by the carrier. While we monitor shipments closely, Palm Bungalow is not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Outdoor & Environmental Considerations
Clients are responsible for ensuring that items placed outdoors or on balconies comply with building codes and engineering requirements. Wind exposure, salt air, and weather conditions may affect performance over time.
Incorrect Addresses
Please verify your shipping address prior to submitting your order. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect address information provided at checkout.
