Fish Scale Cylinder Pot Rust

Our Rust colored cylinder pot looks as though it has been locked away in a temple for centuries! The motif depicts a stunning repeated fish scale pattern. It's a classic orchid sized planter with straight sides and a flat rim made from foot-stomp porcelain clay. This porcelain clay is mixed by hand and wedged by foot introducing small mineral particles that appear as rust colored spots after being fired. The deep brown hand painted motifs insure no two pieces are identical! We like to call this collection "rustic chinoiserie" noting its classical design contrasted with its ancient appearance.  Two sizes.
